Project “Lao Children: 10,000 Faces” is a program to encourage nationwide Lao child in rural area, who lack to access the outside world, education, and to inspire new innovation and knowledge from the worldwide via art event and discussion. Lang Korng, as a youth-led non-profit group had created this project because we believe that "A Photo" can represent the best memory for their childhood. It will be the reminder for them to repeat their experience and knowledge acquired from Lang Korng’s photographers as well as the experiences of other activities by youth artist and volunteers such as: outdoor film screening, class activities, seminars and workshops about child rights and human trafficking, as well as challenges relate with migration issues in the region.

With the outcome of the activities in field sites, we have held a photo exhibition and published a photobook, to express our experiences on how beautiful rural kids are, the abundance of rural landscape as well as the healthy life style of people in countryside, for the community in Vientiane Capital, Laos.
